A Bit About Me
I was born in Toronto down by Brunswick and Borden. My mother kept a traditional kosher home and we celebrated the holidays. I would accompany my mother to shul on many Saturdays.
When I was 22 I visited Israel and fell in love with the place. So I made aliyah. I met my husband there and we married the following year. My daughter and son were born there. Soon after my husband wanted to emigrate to Canada so back I came.
Fast forward many years and I am now a bubby to an adorable 6 year old girl. She is my world and my heart. I very much want to be around to see her grow up and all the joy and nachas I would get from her.
My kidney journey started in my 40s when it was discovered something was going on with my kidneys. I was put on meds and monitored but in the meantime I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Thank G-d I am a survivor with Ezrat HaShem.
My kidneys went downhill earlier this year and in February 2024 I was put on dialysis. I am doing my best to deal with this. I am otherwise in good health and try to keep active. So that, combined with a donor kidney, would make living a longer, healthier life possible
And, of course, always with Ezrat Ha Shem
