I am so grateful to Hashem for the opportunity of being a kidney donor.  
It is another form of giving life and a mitzvah you can only experience once in a lifetime. 
Yet, this mitzvah renews itself constantly with every act and breath of the recipient.
How did I do this? With the support, guidance and encouragement of the wonderful people at Renewal. Thank you!

Shortly before my 70th birthday, I donated my kidney to a total stranger. Before my donation he was on dialysis 7 days a week, now he is living his life to the fullest. Donating my kidney and saving a life was one of the most wonderful and exhilarating experiences of my life. As every donor feels - I would do it all over again if I could!

I'm a single parent to four kids and CEO of a company with over 100 team members. When I learned that I could save a life by donating my kidney I realized that's why Hashem gave me two. When Renewal asked me when was a convenient time to donate, I replied: "Nothing I have on my schedule is more important!”

On a side note, I still wear my hospital bracelet!
I feel like a hero and I deserve to; so do you!
